Gemstone MP Soap Recipe

Recipe Directions

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron.
  1. Add 18 oz. cut up Extra Clear Soap to a measuring cup and melt in microwave.
  2. Add 24 drops Strawberry Red Liquid Color and stir.
  3. Mix 0.50 oz. Boysenberry Santal Spice Fragrance Oil with 0.25 oz. Vanilla Color Stabilizer and let set for 2 minutes. Add to melted soap and stir.
  4. Pour soap into bottoms of each mold cavity covering just over large gem area in the middle. Let harden.
  5. Add 1 oz. of Shimmering Light Gold Mica Powder to Powder Spray Set.
  6. Spray a heavy layer of Gold Mica Powder over the red soap.
  7. Spritz soap with rubbing alcohol. Pour more red soap into mold cavities leaving about 1/4-1/2 inch space at top. Let harden. 
  8. Add 8 oz. Extra Clear Soap to a measuring cup and melt in microwave.  
  9. Add 0.20 oz. Gold Mica Powder and mix well.
  10. Mix 7 ml Fragrance Oil with 3.5 ml Vanilla Color Stabilizer and let set for 2 minutes. Add to gold soap. 
  11. Spritz tops of red soap then pour gold soap filling to the top. Spritz again and let harden.
  12. Remove from mold. Wrap in plastic wrap or packaging of choice. 
  13. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Lather onto wet skin. Rinse off with warm water.
